In 1965 I was a 15 year old girl, in the streets of Los Angeles, a town pulsing with music. Running from club to club, sneaking in the back door. From The Whiskey to The Hullabaloo, to The Trip, to Pandora's Box to The Ashgrove. On any one night, one might see The Byrds, Cream, Muddy Waters, Donovan, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Diamond, Buffalo Springfield, The Loving Spoonful, Gene Clark, Taj Mahal, and on and on....and Round and Round. A beloved friendship still going strong, still rockin', she's singing at the end of this song with me.
